Position: MDRT (Medical Device Reprocessing Technician)
Employment Type: Casual
Shifts per Week: 1-2 shifts per week. Flexibility to pick-up shifts on a relief basis is required.
Mandatory:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program. Completion of Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) [formerly IAHCSMM] certification or Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification.
- Police Information Check (PIC) [vulnerable sector] within the last 12 months.
Pattern: Days. Weekdays. Some Saturdays.

The MDRT position duties include but are not limited to:
- Accurate & timely collection, decontamination, sterilization, packaging, and delivery of all medical instrumentation
- Adhering to sterilization procedures & regulations, including performing quality control through continuous testing and cleaning of all sterilization equipment & instruments
- Keeping proper documentation of all sterilization procedures
- Monitors inventory and equipment as needed
